ASIA-PACIFIC: LOCALISING LEADERSHIP FOR AI & DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Global platforms and PE-backed growth companies are localising senior Asia-Pacific leadership at MD, VP, CTO and board level to accelerate AI monetisation, digital infrastructure and ecosystem partnerships across the region.
Google reshaped its Southeast Asia go-to-market leadership to support AI-driven growth, appointing Ben King as Managing Director for a newly combined Singapore and Malaysia cluster, with an expanded remit over the SEA Agency & Partner function spanning media, creative, creator, tech, and platform partners. The same revamp sees Farhan S. Qureshi move into a broader Regional Director, Business & Operations role covering Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand and other frontier markets, alongside new country directors Prep Palacios (Philippines) and Rafael Scislowski (Thailand).
Meta named long-time executive Benjamin Joe as Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific, effective July 2025, succeeding Dan Neary. ServiceNow appointed Melissa Ries as Group Vice President and Managing Director for Asia and Korea, and added veteran Asia tech leader Yen Yen Tan to its Global Advisory Council.
In the infrastructure and fintech space, PAG-backed data-centre operator Flow Digital Infrastructure appointed Ken Marron as Chief Technology Officer, whilst Indonesia’s Flip named Mohammed Alabsi as CTO. Pos Malaysia appointed Shahrin Oli Mohamed as Group Chief Technology Officer to drive digital and logistics transformation.
In a notable board move, Flipkart inducted former Meta APAC leader Dan Neary to its board, adding deep social commerce and regional platform experience. Robert Lebusque recently joined DXC to lead APAC operations.
EUROPE & NORTH AMERICA: SERVICES, SOFTWARE & STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
Technology services firms continue to reshape leadership as they navigate AI integration and digital transformation mandates:
Laurent Martini moved from Vice President, EMEA Sales at Splunk to Managing Director at Aanplan. Former Microsoft Chief Operating Officer Cindy Rose was appointed Chief Executive Officer at WPP. Andy Baldwin transitioned from Global Managing Partner at IBM to Senior Vice President, Offerings and Growth at IBM Consulting. Andrew Duncan, previously at Infosys Consulting, became Chief Executive Officer at Qualitest.
In North America, Harin Shetty joined West Monroe as President & Board Member from Accenture. Eric Miquelon moved from Avade to Chief Operating Officer at HSO. Jason Dess became Group Chief Executive of Consulting at Accenture. Nathalie Gaveau joined Publicis Sapient US as Chief Client Officer and Executive Vice President.
Software and platform companies made several notable moves: Florin Rotar became Group Chief Technology Officer at Atos. Bratin Saha was appointed Chief Executive Officer at NTT DATA AIVista, and Razat Gaurav took the CEO role at Kinaxis.
Enterprise software leadership saw Dayne Turbitt promoted to Senior Vice President at Snowflake in EMEA, James Petter became Corporate Vice President, EMEA SME&C at Microsoft, and Gos Hein van de Wouw joined Extreme Networks as Senior Vice President EMEA.
Mid-market and specialist software firms also saw movement: Graham Younger became Chief Revenue Officer at ECI Software Solutions, Gareth Burton was appointed Chief Executive Officer at EA Technology, Mark Ledsham took the CEO role at Conferma, and Michael Cox joined Keyloop as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer. Eric Fearday became Chief Revenue Officer at Klaviyo, and Jane Tunney Livesey was appointed President of Microsoft Australia and New Zealand.
